We have entered a strategic partnership with Panaya, an Israel-based IT service company providing impact analysis solutions and testing tools for cloud-based ERP/CRM applications globally, to further accelerate customer migration to SAP’s next-generation ERP solution, SAP S/4HANA. This partnership will lend robust support to the smooth migration to SAP S/4HANA for customers who have already implemented SAP solutions.
Background
With the end of maintenance support for SAP’s ERP solution, SAP ECC, in 2027, the number of customers planning to migrate to SAP S/4HANA is rapidly increasing. SAP S/4HANA features cloud-based system streamlines and accelerate processing and provides sustainable value to the ever-changing business environments of customers. On the other hand, according to the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry’s “Survey of IT Human Resources Supply and Demand” (*), a supply-demand gap of 360,000 IT personnel is expected in Japan by 2025, with a shortage of highly specialized SAP engineers being a particular issue for the entire industry. Consequently, there are concerns that migration costs may rise, and project delays may prevent the completion of migrations before maintenance support ends.
